About the Role:

We are looking for a professional and motivated Customer Services Assistant to join our busy Customer Hub team on a temporary basis to support a peak in workload. The role involves providing excellent customer service across multiple channels, including telephone, email, web chat, and face-to-face interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond to customer enquiries and requests, providing information, guidance, and support.
Resolve customer issues at the first point of contact where possible, or escalate as required.
Maintain accurate records using CRM and other IT systems.
Assist customers with completing forms, applications, and digital processes.
Manage and respond to complaints professionally and promptly.
Provide support to key stakeholders through dedicated communication channels.
Analyse customer feedback and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
Process financial transactions accurately in line with organisational procedures.

Essential Skills & Experience:

At least 1 year's relevant experience providing professional customer service via multiple channels.
Experience using standard IT systems and preferably CRM systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to signpost or resolve customer enquiries effectively.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
High level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Office programs.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and manage workload efficiently.

Desirable Qualifications:

5 GCSEs (grades A-C) including English or equivalent, or passed a relevant business support/computer-based assessment.

Additional Information:

Some out-of-hours work may be required.

Location: Belfast

Hours: 37 per week

Rate: PAYE £14.35/hr
