Administration Officer

  • Provide administrative support to a SEND service data migration project.
  • Undertake high-volume data entry and cleansing of historic records.
  • Validate and check data quality across two internal systems.
  • Support the maintenance of accurate electronic records and databases.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Contribute to service continuity and quality through reliable administrative support.

Key responsibilities

  • Enter, review and update large volumes of data accurately.
  • Cleanse historic records to ensure information is correct and consistent.
  • Cross-check information across systems to maintain data integrity.
  • Identify discrepancies and escalate issues through appropriate channels.
  • Maintain manual and electronic systems to ensure data accuracy, confidentiality and security.
  • Assist with basic data analysis and produce information or reports where required.
  • Support teams with general administrative activities as needed.

Skills and experience

  • Experience providing administrative or data support in a busy environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with large datasets.
  • Confident IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and other database systems.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A Level qualifications or equivalent experience.

Working arrangements

  • Hybrid working model.
  • Office attendance required 1 day per week (Friday).
  • Remaining working time completed remotely.
