Avionics/Electrical Engineer - Aerospace Test & Integration

Are you an Avionics or Electrical Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity to develop and support cutting-edge avionics test platforms? We are seeking a highly motivated engineer to join our Avionics and Mechanical Laboratories team, playing a key role in the development and integration of new avionics products and test systems.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the forefront of avionics innovation, contributing to the design, testing, and development of next-generation aerospace systems.

You will get the expend your experience in the following areas;

  • Participating in the architecture, design, manufacturing, and commissioning of avionics system integration laboratories.
  • Developing electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system architecture for test systems.
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting during bench testing and proactively improve test methods and processes.
  • Collaborating with systems, software, hardware, and safety engineers to ensure seamless integration.
  • Working with avionics communication protocols such as ARINC429, MIL-1553, CANbus, and Ethernet.
  • Engaging in hands-on electrical work, including wiring, microelectronics, and assembling low-voltage components.
  • Supporting the development of automation tools for testing.

You will need to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Aerospace, Software, Mechanical Engineering, or Applied Sciences (Physics), OR a college diploma in avionics with relevant experience.
  • 5 Years in avionics test bench development, aircraft systems, and/or motor vehicle systems.
  • Experience with low-voltage electrical design and avionics system architecture.
  • Familiarity with digital, discrete, and analog data acquisition methods.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and within a diverse team.

Any experience of the following or a willingness to learn the following would be desirable

  • Design Tools such as CHS, CATIA, and/or Altium or similar.
  • Knowledge of microelectronics and printed circuit board (PCB) design.
  • Understanding of laboratory instrument calibration (load cells, pressure sensors, position sensors).
  • Experience in GUI design and automation tools.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as LabVIEW, Python, and C/C++.
