Overview

We are seeking multiple Site Managers (Client-Side) to support a portfolio of public-sector construction and renovation projects scheduled over the summer period. These roles are ideal for individuals with a construction background who are looking to grow their careers within project delivery and client-side management.

This is a hands-on, site-based role focused on oversight, coordination, and contractor management rather than heavy technical delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the client representative on-site, overseeing day-to-day construction activities
  • Monitor contractors to ensure work is performed in accordance with drawings, specifications, and project standards
  • Provide general oversight and coordination of contractors
  • Review drawings and understand project scope to verify correct execution of work
  • Track site activity, progress, and workforce using digital tools
  • Run and coordinate site meetings, including progress and coordination meetings
  • Identify issues early and escalate where necessary
  • Ensure projects remain on schedule during the critical summer delivery period
  • Support interior renovation works (e.g., bathrooms, roofing, and similar scopes)

Requirements

  • Background in construction, engineering, or a related field
  • Experience working on public-sector projects (essential)
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor multiple contractors
  • Comfortable working full-time on-site (5 days per week)
  • Basic computer literacy (tracking progress, reporting, coordination)
  • Strong communication skills and confidence in leading meetings

  • Early-career professionals or those with moderate experience
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and interested in career progression
  • Open to developing into a Project Engineer or higher-level role over time
  • Experience with public sector institutional work is a plus
