Electrical Design Engineer / Electronic Assembly Engineer / Avionics Design Engineer - Aerospace
Are you an ambitious Electrical Engineer looking to launch your career in the aerospace industry?
We are seeking a Junior Electrical Design Engineer to join a team and work on cutting-edge electrical and electro-optical hardware for aerospace applications.
You will get to further your skills in the following areas;
- Designing and developing electronic hardware circuits for aerospace projects.
- Creating electrical schematics, BOMs, and PCB designs using industry-standard tools.
- Supporting the generation of hardware and electro-optical system requirements and design documentation.
- Assisting with unit testing, integration testing, and debugging of hardware systems.
- Working cross-functionally with systems, mechanical, and software teams to ensure seamless development.
- Participating in failure investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Supporting design reviews, qualification testing, and first article inspections (FAI).
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree/diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Electro-Optical Engineering.
- 1-2 years of relevant hardware/electrical design experience.
- Ability to work with ITAR/CGP restricted data.
- Familiarity with electrical design for aerospace applications and compliance with industry standards (e.g., MIL-DTL-7788, DO-160G).
- Experience with Altium Designer or similar schematic and PCB layout tools.
Any experience in the following would be really beneficial.
- Knowledge of LED and incandescent lighting in airborne control panels.
- Experience in electromagnetic compatibility, ESD, and transient immunity design.
- Understanding of hardware manufacturing processes, avionics components, and industry standards (IPC-2221, J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, etc.).
