🕒 Hours: Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Estate Cleaning Operative to join our team in Southwark. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and security of local estates and public areas.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Cleaning of estate corridors, lobbies, stairwells, refuse stores, and external walkways.
✔ Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and high cleaning of walls, floors, and fixtures.
✔ Litter picking, leaf clearance, and bulk/bagged refuse collection.
✔ Emptying external litter bins and maintaining refuse storage areas.
✔ Handling major spillages and seasonal cleaning duties (e.g., snow clearance).
✔ Storing and maintaining cleaning equipment and materials securely.
✔ Following health & safety protocols and attending training as required.
Requirements
🔹 Previous cleaning experience (estate/public space cleaning desirable).
🔹 Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
🔹 Physically fit to carry out manual tasks in varied weather conditions.
🔹 Understanding of health & safety procedures.
