Job Title: Graduate Project Engineer

Location: Limavady, Northern Ireland (Office-based, with occasional travel)

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Start Date: As soon as possible

Applicants must:

  • Be able to work locally in the Limavady office
  • Hold or expect to gain a minimum 2:2 Honours degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related discipline
  • Have completed a 1-year work placement in the engineering industry

Role Overview

We are seeking an ambitious and proactive Graduate Project Engineer to join our project delivery team. This is a hands-on role with opportunities to contribute to real-world engineering solutions, working closely with experienced engineers across the full project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and organising project deliverables
  • Coordinate engineering documentation and drawings between internal teams, clients, and suppliers
  • Support the review of engineering drawings and 3D models
  • Conduct quality checks on materials and assembled products
  • Support planning and coordination of on-site installations
  • Prepare operation and maintenance manuals and related engineering documents
  • Attend site visits and assist with equipment delivery and installation
  • Uphold health, safety, and environmental standards throughout all project phases
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and suppliers

Additional Essential Criteria

  • Knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD software
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Project, and Teams
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car
  • (Alternative travel arrangements will be considered for applicants with a disability who are unable to drive)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have the right to work in the UK - sponsorship is not available

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience working in the water and wastewater industries
  • Experience in a fabrication environment
