Job Title: Graduate Project Engineer
Location: Limavady, Northern Ireland (Office-based, with occasional travel)
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: As soon as possible
Applicants must:
- Be able to work locally in the Limavady office
- Hold or expect to gain a minimum 2:2 Honours degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related discipline
- Have completed a 1-year work placement in the engineering industry
Role Overview
We are seeking an ambitious and proactive Graduate Project Engineer to join our project delivery team. This is a hands-on role with opportunities to contribute to real-world engineering solutions, working closely with experienced engineers across the full project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and organising project deliverables
- Coordinate engineering documentation and drawings between internal teams, clients, and suppliers
- Support the review of engineering drawings and 3D models
- Conduct quality checks on materials and assembled products
- Support planning and coordination of on-site installations
- Prepare operation and maintenance manuals and related engineering documents
- Attend site visits and assist with equipment delivery and installation
- Uphold health, safety, and environmental standards throughout all project phases
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and suppliers
Additional Essential Criteria
- Knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD software
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Project, and Teams
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car
- (Alternative travel arrangements will be considered for applicants with a disability who are unable to drive)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must have the right to work in the UK - sponsorship is not available
Desirable Criteria
- Experience working in the water and wastewater industries
- Experience in a fabrication environment
