Heavy Civil Construction Manager - based in either (Tulsa, OK, Oklahoma City, OK, or Springdale, AR)

Position Summary
The company is currently seeking an Estimator to join its preconstruction and estimating team. This position will be based at one of the company's division offices located in the southern U.S.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Experience estimating projects within the heavy civil or Department of Transportation (DOT) sectors
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with take-off and estimating software such as AutoCAD, Agtek Earthwork, Bluebeam, and HCSS Plans
- Experience with HCSS HeavyBid or similar estimating software is preferred
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for heavy civil construction projects
- Conduct quantity take-offs
- Analyze contract risks
- Solicit and coordinate with subcontractors and vendors
- Prepare and submit bids
- Assist with budget preparation and project buyout
- Support the development of purchase orders and subcontracts
- Organize estimate handoffs and communicate bidding strategy to operations teams
- Maintain accurate cost history data
- Assist in preparing and negotiating change orders with project management
