Maintenance Joiner

Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm (37 hours per week)
Pay: £15.00 per hour

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Joiner to join a well-established team delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance services within the social housing sector in Loughborough.
This is a full-time, ongoing role working across void properties and responsive repair works, ensuring homes are maintained to a safe and high standard for tenants.
Key Responsibilities of Maintenance Joiner:
- Carrying out general joinery repairs and maintenance in social housing properties
- Completing works on void properties to prepare them for new tenants
- Undertaking responsive repairs in occupied homes
- Fitting doors, skirting, architraves, kitchens, and other 1st & 2nd fix joinery
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements of Maintenance Joiner:
- NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Carpentry & Joinery
- Proven experience within social housing, voids, or responsive repairs
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team within Trade and Services
- Strong customer service skills
