Salesforce Manager Position
This role involves overseeing Salesforce engineering teams responsible for designing, developing, documenting, testing, deploying, and maintaining Salesforce platform solutions. The position focuses on delivering efficient, end-to-end CRM solutions while ensuring the performance and reliability of Salesforce products.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Salesforce development projects from requirements gathering through deployment and maintenance.
- Lead the design and implementation of complex Salesforce solutions following best practices and industry standards.
- Conduct code reviews and oversee testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure adherence to security, governance, and performance guidelines.
- Provide technical guidance to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Collaborate with engineering managers, product managers, analysts, and users to deliver impactful solutions.
- Stay informed about Salesforce ecosystem advancements, evaluating tools and technologies for adoption.
- Drive solutions to complex, ambiguous problems, creating scalable and efficient systems.
- Proactively maintain and restructure data models to support business processes.
- Collaborate with architects to address technical debt and update critical projects.
Qualifications:
- Over 6 years of Salesforce development experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Expertise in Salesforce development tools such as Apex, Visualforce, REST/SOAP APIs, and LWC/Aura.
- Knowledge of automation tools and data loaders.
- Ability to translate business use cases into application solutions.
- Strong project management skills and understanding of financial principles.
- Effective communicator with strong documentation skills.
- Collaborative mindset, contributing to projects outside domain expertise.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the healthcare industry.
- Familiarity with Marketing Cloud or CPQ.
- Knowledge of ETL tools (e.g., Jitterbit, MuleSoft).
- Salesforce Platform Developer II and System/Application Architect certifications.
- Experience in Agile Scrum environments.
