Job Title: Plasterer
Location: Derby
Rate: £20.00 - £22.00 per hour
Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plasterer to join our Building Services team in Derby. You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality repairs, maintenance, and renovations to housing stock, schools, and public buildings. This position offers an excellent hourly rate, consistent working hours as well as a van and fuel card.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform plastering repairs, maintenance, and renovations across various properties and buildings.
- Carry out new plaster works on internal and external surfaces.
- Install and repair ceramic tiles in kitchens and bathrooms.
- Lay and repair flooring in kitchen and bathroom areas.
- Resolve minor or routine technical difficulties on-site, using your initiative and escalating where necessary.
- Maintain optimal vehicle stock levels to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Liaise with customers while working within an appointment system to provide excellent service.
About You:
- Proven experience in plastering, repairs, and maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and solve routine technical issues on-site.
- Strong customer service skills, with experience working within an appointment system.
- Reliable, professional, and proactive in your approach to work.
