The Opportunity

In this role, you'll take full responsibility for delivering underground utility construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. You'll work closely with field teams, leadership, and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

You'll gain exposure to a wide variety of project types-commercial, residential, and public infrastructure-while developing both your technical and commercial skillset in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

What You'll Be Doing

Project Delivery & Coordination

  • Manage multiple underground utility projects from planning through completion
  • Build and maintain project schedules in collaboration with field leadership
  • Coordinate materials, subcontractors, and resources to ensure efficient execution
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety

Financial & Commercial Management

  • Track project costs, budgets, and forecasts
  • Review job cost reports and support financial performance tracking
  • Manage change orders and ensure accurate cost control throughout the project lifecycle
  • Approve invoices and maintain financial accuracy

Risk, Compliance & Execution

  • Identify project risks early and implement mitigation strategies
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, permits, and local regulations
  • Maintain full project documentation including billing, reporting, and updates

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Maintain strong relationships through proactive communication and problem-solving
  • Support progress billing and reporting alongside internal teams

  • Experience managing construction projects, ideally within underground utilities or civil infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of scheduling, cost control, and construction execution
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and engineering drawings
  • Knowledge of utility installation processes and regulatory requirements
  • Strong communication and leadership skills across field and office teams
  • Proficiency with project management tools and Microsoft Office
