The Role
A leading financial technology company is seeking a skilled Rust Trading Bot Programmer to join its team. This role involves developing high-frequency trading (HFT) bots using Rust, valued for its performance and reliability. The ideal candidate has a strong background in algorithmic trading and a passion for advancing automated trading systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced trading algorithms using Rust.
- Implement and optimize low-latency trading strategies.
- Work with quantitative researchers to translate trading strategies into robust software.
- Perform back-testing and forward-testing of trading models for efficiency and accuracy.
- Integrate with various trading exchanges and platforms for data ingestion and order execution.
- Monitor and adjust the performance of live trading bots.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Rust programming for high-performance environments.
- Strong background in algorithmic trading, finance, or a related field.
- Experience with financial market structures and cryptocurrency platforms.
- Familiarity with mathematical models and statistical methods.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
